Wilson Insurance Services is seeking a Personal Lines Customer Service Specialist for a full-time position. Knowledge of the insurance industry is very helpful, but if you have the willingness, interest and the ability to learn quickly, you will also be considered. An active N.C. Property & Liability Insurance License and prior experience working in agency environment is preferred. This position requires a high school diploma/GED, strong oral and written communication skills, data entry experience and a mature and accommodating disposition. The salary for the position is negotiable and will be determined at the time of hire.

Salary: $40,000.00 to $65,000.00 /year
Responsibilities and Duties
A personal lines customer service agent is responsible for the following:
- Service of Personal Lines Accounts (personal insurance for clients such as, but not limited to, personal automobile, homeowners, boats, umbrella policies, etc.) including policy updates, collection of premium, and claims filing
- Familiarity with company guidelines, underwriting terms, and ability to navigate carrier web portals
- Ability to meticulously document client interactions on our CRM Platform (Agency Management System)
- Knowledge of personal lines coverages, terms, and procedures
- Maintain rapport with clients and company underwriters
- Actively re-underwrite client accounts.
- Cross-sell new and additional policies and solicit other types of insurance
- Qualifications and Skills
High School Diploma/GED
Knowledge of Insurance Industry
Prior Insurance Agency Experience Preferred
