Job Opportunity – Infectious Disease Physician – North Carolina
Start Date: September 14, 2026
Location: North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Inpatient rounding with approximately 20 patients per day; float coverage between two facilities
Highlights:
- 52-week contract (approximately 1 year) with comprehensive inpatient infectious disease coverage
- Epic EMR system for streamlined documentation and care coordination
- Adult patient population with complex infection management including sepsis, osteomyelitis, and endocarditis
- Advanced Practice Provider support at one location
- Overtime and holiday pay available at 1.5x normal rate
- Opportunity to provide consultative expertise and manage complex infectious disease cases
Requirements:
- Board Certified in Infectious Disease
- Active North Carolina state medical license (or ability to obtain)
- Current DEA registration
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Infectious Disease training and experience required
- Epic EMR experience preferred
