We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join one of our excellent clients in Greensboro. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with internal and external accounting standards. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who actively questions assumptions, validates data, and seeks continuous improvement in financial processes.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies
Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations
Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial decision-making
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
3+ years of experience in financial accounting or auditing
Strong proficiency in Excel and accounting software
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
