Shuttle Driver

We’re growing and looking for Paratransit Drivers to join our team. Whether full-time or part-time, you’ll be part of a company that values your skills, professionalism, and commitment to patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding customer service to participants, their families, facilities, and the public.
- Safely operate and maintain company vehicles and equipment in compliance with all laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Assist participants, including those using wheelchairs, walkers, or other mobility devices, with safe boarding and exiting.
- Complete required documentation accurately and on time using electronic systems.
- Maintain a clean, professional workspace, including vehicles and facilities.
- Communicate effectively and respectfully with passengers, families, facilities, and dispatch.
- Represent KQT with professionalism and integrity at all times.
Physical Demands:
- Sit, stand, walk, bend, squat, twist, push, pull, and reach for extended periods.
- Assist participants with mobility, including stair navigation and wheelchair support.
- Frequently lift and move up to 125 pounds.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license in good standing. Delaware employees require a Z endorsement a plus!
- Current CPR certification.
- COVID Vaccination required for dedicated PACE Drivers.
- One year of related driving or customer service experience preferred.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule.
- Basic computer skills (timekeeping and documentation are electronic).
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical exam (DOT physical may be required), and background check.
