Construction Sales/Estimator
Accentuate Staffing is assisting a client of ours in the Greenville, SC area recruit for a Sales/Estimator to join their team. This is a direct hire opportunity. Candidates must have previous commercial drywall construction industry experience.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed estimates and feasibility studies for commercial construction projects
- Review blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation to ensure accurate project scope
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to clarify project details and requirements
- Develop and deliver professional presentations and proposals to clients
- Maintain a deep understanding of building materials, methods, and life cycle values
- Negotiate and manage contract terms in alignment with company and client expectations
- Monitor costs, budgets, and timelines to ensure project profitability and compliance
- Support the sales team with project data, bid strategies, and customer follow-up
Requirements:
- Previous experience in commercial drywall construction or a related field
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and labor requirements
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills—verbal, written, and interpersonal
- Proficiency in estimating software such as Quick Bid and On-Screen Takeoff
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and analytical skills
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to both lead and collaborate
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
