Director & Actuary (Charlotte, NC (Hybrid) or Remote | WFH

As a Director & Actuary, you will play a key role in delivering valuable insights for our variable annuities and flagship registered-indexed-linked-annuity product. This position supports the Liability Analysis and Services team, focusing on production and analysis to inform hedging-related reporting, attribution, and strategy. Your expertise will help drive effective risk management and decision-making. In This Role, You'll Get To:
- Lead hedging analysis, including sensitivity testing, attribution, and forward-looking estimation for variable annuities and indexed-linked annuity products.
- Perform in-depth analysis to identify, measure, and enhance hedge strategy and performance.
- Coordinate with key stakeholders to ensure consistency in production processes, assumptions, modeling methodologies, and regulatory updates.
- Collaborate with the model development team to request, document, and approve model enhancements while improving efficiency.
- Work closely with leadership to prioritize, plan, and execute projects effectively. What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Economics, or Finance.
- Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) designation required; FSA designation is a plus.
- Strong computing and programming skills, with Python preferred.
- Experience with actuarial modeling software (PathWise preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong project management skills with attention to detail and process orientation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex challenges.

- Competitive Compensation - Base salary ranging from $150,000 - $175,000, plus performance-based incentives.
