Public Relations Coordinator

Location: Charlotte, NC (On-site – Must work from the office) Working Hours: Monday to Friday Salary Range: $51,240 - $58,790 per year Description We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Public Relations Coordinator to join our vibrant team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in shaping and maintaining the public image of our organization. The Public Relations Coordinator will develop and implement effective communication strategies that resonate with our diverse audiences. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement public relations strategies that align with organizational goals.
- Write and distribute press releases, media advisories, and other communication materials.
- Manage media inquiries and cultivate relationships with journalists, influencers, and key stakeholders.
- Coordinate public relations events, including press conferences, community engagement activities, and promotional events.
- Monitor media coverage and analyze public relations metrics to assess the impact of campaigns.
- Assist in the creation of content for the company website, social media, and newsletters.
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in public relations or communications roles.
- Strong writing and editing skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in media relations and understanding of the media landscape.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
- Proven experience in a front office or receptionist role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and office management software.
- Ability to remain professional and calm under pressure.
