Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Fayetteville, NC 28304
• Facility: Cardiac Cath Lab, Level III Trauma Center
• Position Type: Travel RN (locum tenens)
• Start Date: September 22, 2025
• End Date: December 22, 2025
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Shifts: 3x12-hour day shifts (06:45 - 19:15), with call and weekend shifts required
• Hours per Week: 36
• Charting System: Epic EMR
• Guaranteed Hours: Yes

Cath Lab RN Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state of North Carolina or compact RN license)
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Cath Lab RN
• Proficiency with Epic charting system required
• Ability to participate in on-call rotation and work weekends as scheduled
• Must pass an advanced EKG exam for compliance
• Applicants must reside outside a 50-mile radius of Cape Fear Valley Medical Center
• Pending state RN licenses not accepted
• Return staff eligible only if absent for at least 1 year

Cath Lab RN Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in the Cardiac Cath Lab, including pre-, intra-, and post-procedure support
• Monitor and assess patients during cardiac catheterization and interventional cardiology procedures
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Document all patient care activities accurately using Epic EMR
• Participate in on-call and weekend coverage as required by the department
• Comply with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
