What You'll Do
- Supervise and coach maintenance technicians, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
- Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs for all plant equipment and facilities.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime.
- Ensure all maintenance work is performed safely and in compliance with company policies and OSHA regulations.
- Maintain maintenance records, work orders, and equipment documentation.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve equipment issues.
- Recommend equipment upgrades, modifications, or process improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and safety programs.
Education
- High school diploma or GED required; relevant technical or vocational training preferred.
What You'll Need
- Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills.
- Leadership and team management skills, including coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluation.
- Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety and regulatory compliance.
- Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Experience with automated or computerized manufacturing equipment preferred.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
