Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Statesville, NC to serve a K-12 public school setting. This contract position requires a dedicated professional with strong skills in speech and language therapy, providing essential services to support student communication development throughout the school year.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid and active North Carolina SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with school-aged children (K-12) in educational settings
- Strong ability to assess and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with students, families, and educators
Job Details:
- Full-time schedule: Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week
- Caseload assignments will be determined based on experience level
- Onsite work is mandatory to provide direct therapy and support
- Contract duration covers the current school year
Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, implementing evidence-based therapy strategies, and tracking student progress. The role also involves collaborating closely with teachers and support staff to integrate communication goals into classroom settings.
