Process Engineer
Process Engineer needed for a leading manufacturer of packaging materials near Newton, NC. This person will champion process improvement for our client's coating assets division, while keeping safety protocols top of mind. education: Bachelors responsibilities:
- Oversee the coating and material manufacturing through commercialization of innovative coating solutions
- Drive continuous improvement on coating assets, operator engagement/development and safety
- Lead risk assessments of equipment to drive safety improvements using skilled engineering practices
- Oversee daily operations activities and process driven improvement projects
- Work with maintenance on machinery enhancements as well as troubleshooting and upgrades
- Monitor and analyze process data, using insights to recommend and implement improvements in coating processes and technologies.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and work with management on capital investments
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- 3+ years of process improvement experience within a manufacturing environment
- Hands-on experience within a manufacturing environment
- Web handling experience (films, foils, paper, nonwovens)
- Experience in coating, converting, slitting, printing press
- Experience level: Experienced
- Minimum 3 years of experience
- Education: Bachelors
