Job Description:

eTeam is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst for one of our direct clients, Atrium Health, based in Charlotte, NC. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing complex duties related to compiling, developing, posting, analyzing, and reporting financial information for the Medical Center in a Corporate Financial Department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise, coordinate, and participate in the preparation of consolidated financial statements and various financial reports for senior leadership and external agencies.
• Manage monthly closing activities, including posting journal entries and reconciling general ledger accounts.
• Gather, compile, and prepare routine financial reports, analyses, and graphs for Medical Center management.
• Participate in business, financial, and operational plan development and analysis, providing input as appropriate.
• Assist senior staff with projects and presentations of financial information.
• Maintain effective liaison with internal departments, external auditors, and other stakeholders for financial information analysis.
• Lead routine projects and mentor accounting staff on the use of accounting reports and tools.
• Research and document technical accounting issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's preferred).
• Minimum of three years' progressive work experience in financial analysis or accounting, preferably in healthcare.
• Proficiency in advanced Excel, Oracle, or similar ERP systems.
• Strong understanding of 3-way, 2-way, and PO processing, with the ability to identify and resolve match exceptions.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
