Kenly 95 Petro TA Service Center – On-Site Position
Kenly 95 Petro TA Service Center is hiring a dependable, hands-on Diesel Mechanic / Diesel Technician to join our high-volume, fast-paced truck service center. If you have experience in diesel repair, preventative maintenance (PM), tire services, or commercial truck maintenance , we want to hear from you.
Our shop services heavy-duty diesel trucks, fleet vehicles, and commercial equipment daily. This is a great opportunity for experienced diesel mechanics or entry-level technicians looking to grow their career in a stable, nationally recognized travel center environment.
Requirements: Schedule Requirements- Weekends required
- Must be 18 years or older
- On-site position (not remote)
- Perform preventative maintenance (PM services) on heavy-duty diesel trucks
- Complete oil changes, lube services, and fluid checks
- Inspect, remove, replace, balance, and align commercial truck tires
- Conduct multi-point inspections on diesel engines and fleet vehicles
- Check and maintain coolant, brake, transmission, and engine fluid levels
- Accurately document service findings and repair recommendations
- Operate shop equipment, hand tools, and power tools safely
- Maintain a clean, organized, OSHA-compliant service bay
- Follow all company safety procedures and industry standards
- Provide professional customer service when interacting with drivers and fleet customers
- Experience as a Diesel Mechanic, Diesel Technician, Lube Technician, or Tire Technician preferred
- Experience in heavy-duty truck repair, fleet maintenance, or commercial vehicle service is a plus
- Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to use diagnostic and repair tools
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and stand for extended periods
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced truck shop environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Dependable, safety-focused, and team-oriented
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening
