Accounts Receivable Clerk

Description We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Statesville, North Carolina. The ideal candidate will manage the company's accounts receivable functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments. This role is crucial in maintaining strong financial controls and supporting efficient cash flow operations. Responsibilities: - Prepare and issue invoices to clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. - Monitor and manage outstanding accounts to ensure timely collection of payments. - Process incoming payments accurately and apply them to the appropriate accounts. - Communicate with clients regarding overdue balances and resolve payment discrepancies. - Maintain detailed records of all transactions, including payments and collections. - Collaborate with internal teams to address billing issues and update account information. - Generate regular reports on accounts receivable status and aging balances. - Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts receivable or a related financial role. - Strong knowledge of accounts receivable processes, including invoicing and collections. - Proficiency in cash applications and managing billing functions. - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. - Effective communication skills for interacting with clients and internal teams. - Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Office applications. - Ability to analyze and resolve discrepancies in accounts. - Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
