Job Title: Java Developer (Full Stack)
Location: Charlotte, NC Employment Type: Contract (W2)
Duration: 6 Months Visa Requirement: No OPT / H1B
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Java Full Stack Developer with strong experience in modern frontend and backend technologies. The ideal candidate will work on building scalable, user-friendly applications and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop frontend components using React and JavaScript/TypeScript
- Build and maintain backend services using Java, Kotlin, and Eclipse Vert.x
- Collaborate with product owners, designers, and engineers to deliver high-quality solutions
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, standups, code reviews)
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the full stack
- Ensure code quality through unit testing and automation
- Take ownership of features from development through deployment
Required Skills:
- 3+ years of experience in full-stack development
- Strong proficiency in React, JavaScript/TypeScript
- Hands-on experience with Java and/or Kotlin
- Experience building and consuming APIs/services
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work in collaborative, cross-functional teams
Preferred Skills:
- Exposure to risk, compliance, or financial domain applications
- Strong understanding of clean code and best practices
- Comfortable presenting ideas and engaging in technical discussions.
- Experience with test automation frameworks
