About the Role
As an Area Coach at South Block, you’ll oversee and support the daily operations of multiple store locations. This hands-on leadership role is ideal for someone who enjoys developing people, building strong teams, and driving results.
You will play a key role in ensuring each store delivers an exceptional guest experience, maintains high standards for product quality and operations, and upholds the culture and values that make South Block unique.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and support store managers [head coaches] and their teams across multiple locations to drive performance and engagement.
- Ensure every store consistently meets South Block’s standards for exceptional guest service, cleanliness, and product quality.
- Monitor store performance metrics, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement effective action plans.
- Oversee inventory, ordering, and supply management to keep all locations fully stocked and operating smoothly.
- Foster a positive, inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and professional growth.
- Conduct regular store visits and operational audits to ensure compliance with company policies and brand standards.
- Develop and execute strategies to boost sales, enhance guest experience, and increase customer loyalty.
- Respond to customer feedback and resolve issues with professionalism, urgency, and care.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to establish goals, set clear expectations, and support store-level success.
Job Requirements:
- Must have 3+ years of proven experience in a multi-unit management role, within the food and beverage industry.
- Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and manage high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and connect with diverse teams.
- Proficient in analyzing financial reports and performance metrics to drive results.
- Highly organized, with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly between store locations.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
