Maintenance Mechanic Job Description:

PrideStaff is currently recruiting for a manufacturing company who is in search of a Maintenance Mechanic. The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing plant and production equipment, performing PM’s, and completing work orders. The ideal Maintenance Mechanic has previous experience in an industrial manufacturing environment repairing, installing, and servicing production equipment, demonstrating excellent communication and time management skills. The Maintenance Mechanic position is a full-time, temp to hire position in Hendersonville, NC.

Maintenance Mechanic Job Responsibilities:

• Perform Preventative Maintenance & Complete Work Orders to Maintain, Service, & Repair Mechanical Equipment, Machinery, & Components

• Conduct Repairs & Maintenance on Mechanical & Electrical Equipment (up to 480v & Building Support Systems

• Identify Necessary Replacement Parts, Place Orders, & Coordinate Installation Support & Service Operations

• Follow All Safety Procedures & Maintain Compliance With Company, Regulatory, & Food Safety Requirements

• Schedule & Coordinate Installation Support & Service Operations

• Maintain Equipment Manuals, Complete Work Orders & Inspection Reports, Document Work Hours

• Use Hand & Power Tools to Troubleshoot, Test, & Repair Equipment For Optimal Usage & Quality

• Follow All PPE & Safety Guidelines

Maintenance Mechanic Job Requirements & Working Conditions:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required

• 3+ Years of Industrial Manufacturing Mechanic Experience Required

• Strong Knowledge With Mechanical, Pneumatics, & Electrical (120vac - 480vac) Systems

• Detailed Oriented & Multi-Task

• Excellent Time Management & Problem Solving Skills

• Superb Written & Verbal Communication Skills Required

• Previous Experience in The Food/Beverage Industry Preferred

• Experience in a Manufacturing or Production Environment Preferred

• Has Experience Using Hand & Power Tools
