OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Chapel Hill, NC by HMD Trucking
Requirements - 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Vacancy description
Join HMD to operate OTR dry-van freight nationwide out of Chapel Hill, NC. This solo CDL-A role runs long-haul routes in late-model tractors with sleepers, APUs and inverters, and benefits from dependable in-house maintenance. Compensation begins at 65 CPM with average weekly miles near 2,500 and bonuses for safety, clean inspections and referrals.
Your Responsibilities:
- Safely deliver dry van freight across interstate lanes, maintaining schedules.
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and accurate driver logs.
- Follow DOT regulations and company operating procedures.
Requirements:
- CDL-A license and minimum 12 months verifiable experience.
