Now Hiring: Board-Certified Cardiologist
Were actively interviewing for a Board-Certified Cardiologist to help expand our cardiovascular services and support our rapidly growing patient base.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver exceptional cardiovascular care in an outpatient setting.
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and provide direct care.
Manage chronic cardiovascular conditions through appropriate testing, imaging, and treatment plans.
Interpret lab results, EKGs, echocardiograms, arterial and venous vascular studies, stress tests (including nuclear and exercise), and stress echocardiograms.
Collaborate with and advise primary care providers on best practices for cardiovascular disease management.
Provide minimal rotating after-hours phone coverage for urgent patient concerns.
Stay current with advancements and research in cardiovascular medicine.
Required Qualifications
Active and unrestricted medical license (or ability to obtain one) in North Carolina.
Graduate of an accredited MD or DO program.
Completion of an ACGME-accredited internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology (American Board of Internal Medicine).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to team-based, integrated care.
Outstanding patient service and professionalism.
Basic computer proficiency; experience with Athena EMR is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
At least 2 years of full-time experience as a practicing cardiologist.
High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Compassionate communicator with a patient-centered approach.
