Assembly Supervisor
Accentuate Staffing is assisting a leading equipment distributor in Wendell who is looking for an Assembly Supervisor to join their growing team. This is a 1st shift, direct-hire opportunity working 8am to 5pm.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support assembly technicians; monitor performance and productivity.
- Oversee daily workflow to ensure builds are completed on schedule.
- Ensure all units meet quality standards and report any issues.
- Maintain safe work practices and enforce OSHA guidelines.
- Coordinate with Maintenance to keep equipment functioning and minimize downtime.
- Track and report production metrics as required.
- Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and consumables.
- Train and develop assembly staff.
- Perform additional duties as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree preferred).
- 5+ years of assembly or mechanical experience.
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience required.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various physical positions.
- Willing to obtain forklift certification and complete hoist training.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
