This is a career-oriented, long-term placement ideal for an experienced infant nanny who values consistency, developmental care, and building a meaningful bond with a family.

This family is seeking a nanny who views childcare as a profession , not a temporary role—someone who takes pride in providing attentive, developmentally informed infant care and showing up with intention each day.

About the Child:

• One 5-month-old baby girl

This role is dedicated exclusively to this child. The family is not interested in tag-along care and is seeking a nanny whose full focus is on their baby’s care and development.

Schedule & Start Date:

• Monday–Friday
• 7:45 AM – 4:00 PM
• Guaranteed 32 hours per week
• Start date: February 16, 2026
• One-year contract with the intention of long-term continuity

Compensation & Benefits:

• $23/hour
• Guaranteed weekly pay of $736
• Overtime paid at time and a half when applicable
• 5 paid vacation days (flexibility for longer vacations with advance communication)
• 8 paid sick days
• Paid holidays including:
  • Christmas Eve
  • Christmas Day
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Friday after Thanksgiving

The Ideal Nanny:
This family is seeking a nanny who is:

• Warm, nurturing, and emotionally intuitive
• Highly experienced with infants (newborn–12 months)
• Calm, patient, and confident with infant routines
• Attentive, present, and development-focused
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with parents

Core Qualifications:

• Infant-specific childcare experience
• CPR & First Aid certified (infant certification strongly preferred)
• Knowledge of safe sleep practices (AAP guidelines)
• Familiarity with infant developmental milestones
• Experience with feeding routines (breast milk handling, formula preparation, solids as applicable)
• English-speaking

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive, loving care in a safe and nurturing home environment
• Support age-appropriate developmental activities (tummy time, reading, singing, sensory play)
• Manage daily routines including feeding, naps, and diaper changes
• Maintain professionalism, discretion, and consistency in the home
• Communicate clearly with parents and provide daily updates

Light Child-Related Household Duties:

• Completed during nap times or as time allows:
• Cleaning bottles and child-related dishes
• Washing and folding infant laundry
• Tidying the nursery and play areas
• Restocking diapers and baby supplies

Additional Notes:

• Limited dog care: letting dogs outside at scheduled times
• Professional house cleaners are present on designated days; nanny responsibilities are limited to child-related tidying and keeping the baby out of cleaned areas
• Background check and verifiable references required
• Non-smoker; substance-free environment
