• Job Title: Travel Surgical Technologist (Operating Room)
• Location: Greenville, NC 27834 (North Carolina healthcare jobs)
• Facility Setting: Hospital Operating Room
• Employment Type: Travel Contract
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 09/29/2025 – End: 12/30/2025)
• Shift: 10-hour day shifts
• Hours per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1,870 - $1,920

Surgical Technologist Qualifications

• Current and valid Surgical Technologist certification (CST preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Surgical Tech in a hospital operating room
• Experience in fast-paced clinical and surgical environments
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of hospital policies, procedures, and sterile technique

Surgical Tech Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons and operating room staff during surgical procedures
• Prepare, organize, and maintain sterile surgical instruments and equipment
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and infection control throughout procedures
• Support operating room turnover and maintain a clean, safe environment
• Collaborate with nurses, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals
