Interim Accounts Receivable Specialist Onsite | Triad Area, NC As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will support day-to-day AR operations in a fast-paced environment, managing customer accounts, resolving payment discrepancies, and partnering with internal teams and customers to ensure accurate and timely cash application and collections. Key Responsibilities: Manage high-volume cash application with accuracy and efficiency Monitor customer accounts and follow up on past-due balances Research and resolve payment discrepancies, short pays, and unapplied cash Communicate with customers to resolve billing and collection issues Reconcile customer accounts and maintain accurate AR records Support credit and collections processes as needed Assist with month-end close activities related to AR Maintain organized documentation and ensure timely follow-up on outstanding items Qualifications: 3 years of Accounts Receivable experience in a high-volume environment Strong understanding of full-cycle AR, including cash application and collections Experience working in an ERP system (any major platform; able to learn quickly) Proficiency in Excel (sorting, filtering, basic formulas) Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to manage priorities and work independently Professional communication skills with a customer-focused approach _________________________________________________________________ Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
