Chancery Paralegal

An established law firm is seeking an experienced litigation paralegal to support a high-volume trial team focused on sophisticated commercial and equity matters. This role offers broad exposure to all phases of litigation, including pre-trial preparation, courtroom support, and post-trial follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Support litigation teams throughout the lifecycle of cases, including discovery, motion practice, hearings, and trial
• Prepare and manage case materials such as filings, exhibits, and supporting documentation in accordance with court requirements
• Assist with drafting legal documents and coordinating submission of filings through electronic systems
• Provide hands-on trial support, including organizing materials and assisting during proceedings
• Conduct research and analyze case-related information from a variety of sources to support legal strategy
• Maintain well-organized case files and ensure accurate documentation across internal systems
• Collaborate with attorneys and clients to coordinate case activity and logistics
• Monitor compliance with procedural rules and deadlines across multiple matters
• Utilize legal technology tools and internal systems to enhance workflow efficiency
• Coordinate with external vendors for litigation support services when needed
• Contribute to process improvements and help implement best practices for case management
• Mentor junior staff or project assistants on case-specific workflows and expectations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in complex litigation support, including trial experience
• Familiarity with xrczosw Delaware court systems (Chancery, Superior Court, and/or federal court)
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal software platforms
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently while exercising sound judgment
• Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, and commitment to confidentiality
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
