A nonprofit founded in 1969 in Charlotte, North Carolina, we have since grown to be one of the largest providers of comprehensive substance use disorder treatment in western North Carolina. From initial assessment to customized aftercare, McLeod Centers provides compassionate, steadfast support for our patients’ journey to recovery. McLeod Centers for Wellbeing is currently searching for a Full-time Counselor to work with the Medication Assisted Treatment Program in its Concord, NC location.

How will you help us achieve our mission? You will:

• Be at the forefront of crafting person-centered treatment plans for patients in all stages of recovery.
• Play a pivotal role in monitoring and evaluating client progress, adjusting treatments as necessary for optimal outcomes.
• Lead individual and group counseling sessions to support both patients and their families.
• Connect patients with vital support services, such as medical evaluation, mental health, and social support. Your impact will extend beyond our doors!
• Participate in clinical supervision sessions to foster your professional growth and development.

What are the qualifications needed for this role?:

We're looking for a minimum CADC certification, and up to Master's degree-level, fully licensed or associate licensed Counselors (LCAS, LCAS-A, LCSW, LCSW-A).
