Position Summary:

The Quality Specialist plays a critical role in supporting daily operations by ensuring products meet established quality and safety standards. This position is responsible for conducting inspections, performing product rework, and assisting with quality issue resolution in a fast-paced operational environment. The role requires strict adherence to safety protocols, accurate documentation in company systems, and effective use of material handling equipment and tools.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and capable of working in physically demanding and high-traffic industrial settings while maintaining consistent quality performance standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform product inspections and rework activities according to established quality standards
  • Maintain safety compliance throughout inspection and rework processes
  • Assist in troubleshooting quality concerns and conducting root cause analysis
  • Document and update job tasks in SAP and Salesforce systems
  • Operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and handheld tools as required
  • Ensure proper safety and quality standards are always upheld
  • Lead team(s) in tasks and rework processes while ensuring quality standards are maintained
  • Plan rework assignments, including the stock and supplies needed for the day/week/etc
  • Communicate with different departments to ensure stock is provided and returned as needed to remain lean but also avoid down time
  • Assist in developing production expectations / targets.
  • Provide production progress updates, ensuring the team meets targets.
  • Available to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
  • Other duties assigned.

  • Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft programs such as SAP, Salesforce, Excel and Word

Physical Requirements:

  • Lift and move a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance and 100 pounds with assistance
  • Stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time, full range of motion
  • Wear appropriate safety and personal protective equipment according to the function being performed

Required Education and Experience:

  • At least one (1) year of leadership experience
  • At least one (1) year of experience in a warehouse environment
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • All candidates will be required to pass a drug screen and background check to be considered for employment
  • An understanding of OSHA safety rules for warehouse work
