Our client, a well-established family law firm focused on guiding individuals and families through high-stakes life transitions, is seeking a Family Law Associate Attorney to join its practice. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney who enjoys owning their cases end-to-end, building lasting client relationships, and growing within a collaborative, supportive team.

What You'll Work On:

• Conduct client consultations and develop case strategy
• Draft pleadings, motions, agreements, and correspondence
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
• Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and trials
• Maintain proactive, consistent communication with clients and the team
• Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to deliver strong client service
• Manage family law matters independently from intake through resolution
• Build a personal book of business while contributing to firm growth

What We're Looking For:

• Licensed to practice law in North Carolina and in good standing
• Demonstrated experience handling family law matters from consultation through resolution
• An existing family law book of business (preferred)
• Strong courtroom and negotiation skills
• Excellent legal writing and analytical abilities
• Outstanding organization, time management, and attention to detail
• A compassionate, client-centered approach and a collaborative, team-first mindset
