TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Charlotte, North Carolina, 28207!
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 Years Minimum License: Must have a valid nursing license Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Minimum 2 years of experience in Medical-Surgical or Orthopedic nursing - Experience with cardiac monitoring and emergency response, including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias - Skills in IV therapy and phlebotomy with a focus on peripheral line care and management - Proficiency in respiratory care, including nasal cannula and non-invasive airway management - Knowledge of isolation precautions and personal protective equipment Description: RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite. Any unscheduled call-offs or additional RTO could result in a cancellation and do not return. The surgical focus is on orthopedics and joints. The average daily census is 34 patients, with a total of 48 rooms and beds. The unit supports a fully surgical focus with occasional medical overflow. Common patient diagnoses include total knee replacement, total hip replacement, spinal fusions, hip fractures, orthopedic trauma, and medical-surgical overflow. Special equipment used includes frequent wound vacs and drains. Required skills include cardiac monitoring and the use of rapid response teams. There is a weekend requirement, with shifts every other weekend. The facility operates with a collaborative interdisciplinary support team, including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, and pharmacy. Navy blue scrubs are required and are not provided. Candidates must pass EKG testing prior to starting. Candidates should be open to floating within or near the facility as needed. About Cynet Health
