ER RN Job Details – Wilson, NC

• Location: Wilson, NC 27893 (North Carolina healthcare jobs)
• Setting: Emergency Department (26 beds)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (August 13, 2025 – November 12, 2025)
• Shift: 12-hour days (07:00–19:00), every other weekend required
• Hours per Week: 36 (weekly guaranteed)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1800-$1840
• Patient Ratios: 1:4-5 (flexible depending on acuity)
• Electronic Health Record: Meditech

ER Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience (ER nursing jobs)
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Associate Degree in Nursing required)
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS (required for travel nurse jobs)
• Meditech EHR experience preferred
• Strong team player with a positive, engaged attitude
• Ability to float to similar clinical assignments as needed

ER Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care to all ages in a fast-paced emergency room setting
• Assess, triage, and monitor patients with conditions such as respiratory distress, overdose, CHF, dialysis, and hypertension
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes
• Utilize GE monitors and standard emergency department equipment
• Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech Electronic Health Record (EHR)
• Adhere to hospital policies and uphold professional nursing standards
