In this role, you will gain valuable experience while having fun working at the beach. The Information Technology Intern plays a vital role in supporting our IT department and our organization. You will work closely with corporate professionals to gain a-hands on experience and knowledge in various aspects of It. This experience will give you a unique internship opportunity while also enjoying the coastal environment, waterways, and the culture of the Outer Banks. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
This is a full-time seasonal position, up to 40 hours per week. Workdays and shifts will vary. General expectations and opportunities include:
- Commitment to a 12-week internship and flexible availability: nights, weekends, and holidays
- Commitment to customer service through great teamwork and communication skills
- Dedication to excellence demonstrated by taking initiative and increasing product knowledge.
- Willingness to help with a variety of task as needed by supervisor.
- Assist with installing, configuring, and maintaining network systems and devices.
- Providing technical support to stores including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Documenting processes and procedures to ensure smooth operations.
- Participating in training and development to help and improve skills and knowledge.
- Currently enrolled in a college program focusing on Information Technology, Computer Science, or another business-related field.
- 0 – 2 years related Information Technology experience

- The work environment for this position will vary between indoors and outdoors depending on location.
- Noise level in this job is moderate to noisy; expect business office machinery, people talking, background music playing.
- May be requested to work overtime, weekends and holidays as needed.
- May be requested to drive company vehicle.
About 1/3 of one's time will be spent climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. One-third to two-thirds of one's time will be spent standing, walking, sitting, and reaching. About 2/3 of one's time will be spent using one's hands to finger, handle or feel, as well as talking or hearing. Expect to lift up to 25 lbs. on a regular basis. Vision required: close, color, peripheral, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Some other physical demands come from continuous computer work, cash register work, sales floor work, events work, and mail order work.
