Application Specialist
- Reviews and processes certification and credentialing applications in accordance with NBCC and CCE policies, processes, and procedures.
- Represents NBCC and CCE and handles communications (calls and emails) with current and former applicants. Ensures that customers, applicants, vendor partners, colleagues, and stakeholders receive world-class service through quality-assurance monitoring and auditing of all aspects of application processes.
- Assists applicants with relevant certificate and credential holder database(s). Scans documents and updates records as needed to ensure complete and accurate certificate and credential holder records.
- Reviews and processes documents for applicants completing certification or credentialing. Processes examination registrations and examination score reports.
- Tracks, monitors, and measures the effectiveness of initiatives implemented in support of assigned certifications and credentials.
- Organizes electronic and paper files for record keeping and remote storage.
- Creates and maintains collaborative relationships both internally and with stakeholders across multiple lines of business.
- Recommends and executes initiatives to achieve strategic goals for function/department.
- Completes other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree from a 4-year college or university required.
- Minimum of 1 year and preferably 2 or more years of professional experience managing processes/programs.
- Combination of education and experience is acceptable.
- Awareness and understanding of professional credentialing processes preferred.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually low.
- Remote
- Up to 5% travel.
- Communicate with others verbally, including ability to talk or hear, and understand and distinguish speech and/or other sounds.
- Interact with coworkers on digital platforms.
- Perform work in small and/or enclosed spaces.
- Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one workspace to another.
- Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers such as simple grasping, keyboarding, or fine manipulation.
- Ability to use hands, including hand–eye coordination. forms.
