Full-Time Family Assistant in Belmont for a 4.5-Month-Old Girl

Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in Belmont in finding a Full-Time Family Assistants for their 4.5-month-old. The nanny would typically be needed Monday - Thursday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, and Friday, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm (Guaranteed 35 hours). The ideal candidate will be flexible to occasionally stay late on Fridays or work an occasional date night.

The best nanny for this family would be an experienced, attentive, and nurturing caregiver with recent experience in infant care and a strong understanding of early childhood development. It is important to the family for the nanny to keep screen time limited while prioritizing the child’s well-being and daily needs. The Nanny should be familiar with formula and breast milk safety, as well as the transition to solid foods, follow safety sleep guidelines, and maintain a daily schedule and routine based on the baby’s cues. Each day, the nanny should create an engaging environment focusing on developmental play, sensory experiences, and daily strolls around the neighborhood. As the child grows, age-appropriate outings to the library, local park, and other age-appropriate activities will be incorporated.

Collaboration with Mom, who works from home in a designated office, is important to create a consistent routine that supports the child’s needs. Flexibility, including assisting with household tasks when time allows, is valued, with the child’s safety and well-being as the top priority.

Nanny Responsibilities Include:

• Meeting daily scheduling needs of the child (Feeding, Changing, Napping)

• Engaging with the child on an age-appropriate level

• Playing with the child both inside and outside the home

• Doing hands-on learning activities with the child

Household Duties Include (Child is first priority):

• Child’s laundry and changing the child’s sheets weekly

• Child’s meal prep and preparing a family meal on occasion

• Unloading/loading dishwasher, sanitizing bottles and pump parts

• Wiping down kitchen counters

• Sanitizing toys and frequently used surfaces by the child

• Cleaning up after the Nanny and the child throughout the day

• Emptying the diaper pail

• Light housekeeping in common areas

• Grocery shopping and general errands

Pets: The family has two dogs, and the nanny will be asked to occasionally feed them and let them into the fenced-in yard.

Qualifications:

• Have at least 3 years of professional nanny experience

• Have a college degree or equivalent experience

• Have a professional resume

• Fill out a complete online application

• Pass a national background check, including a driving record check

• Have a valid driver’s license

• Have safe and reliable transportation

• Have a minimum of three professional references

• Must be able to swim

• Be non-smoking/vaping

• CPR and First Aid Certified

• Nanny should be fluent in English; any additional languages are a plus

• Must be up to date on Childhood vaccinations, annual Flu vaccine, and TDAP prior to starting the position.

Start Date, Salary, and Benefits:

• This position starts March 5th, 2026

• Legal pay is offered at $27 an hour, depending on experience
