Position Summary:

This position assists patients with the activities of daily living and provides basic nursing care to assigned patients.

Performs admission duties upon patient arrival to the unit.

Orients patient/families to room

Obtains and records patients' vital signs as required

Assists with basic personal care needs including but not limited to bathing, providing nourishments, and overall personal care.

Responds to call lights

Transports patients via wheelchair or stretcher

Performs transfer and discharge procedures

Operates/maintains equipment in designated area(s)

Maintains skill competence and ongoing required education

High School Diploma - required

Current/active NC Nurse Assistant license (I and/or II) - required

BLS required, or obtained during first week of hire
