Automotive Used Cars Technician
CAPITAL is seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Used Cars Technician to join our automotive service team. The Used Cars Technician will play a crucial role in inspecting, diagnosing, and performing maintenance and repairs on pre-owned vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent diagnostic skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to ensure the reliability and performance of used vehicles. Automotive Used Cars Technician Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough inspections of used vehicles to assess overall condition
- Identify and document any mechanical, electrical, or safety issues
- Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and troubleshoot issues
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics on engine, transmission, brakes, and other vehicle systems
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
- Perform quality control checks to ensure that repairs meet or exceed industry standards
- Other duties assigned
- Technical or vocational training in automotive technology is preferred
- Proven experience as an automotive technician, with a focus on used vehicle maintenance and repairs
- ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certifications are highly desirable
- In-depth knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems
- Flexibility to handle a variety of vehicle models
- Willingness to share knowledge and mentor junior technicians
- Adherence to safety regulations and guidelines
- Must pass pre-employment background screenings
