Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a high-volume Trade Shows & Events team. This individual will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple projects including trade shows, conferences, corporate events, and customer-facing engagements. The Project Manager will collaborate with business unit leaders, internal production teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple trade show, event, conference, and customer engagement projects simultaneously.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and timelines for all assigned projects.
  • Partner with Account Management teams to establish project milestones and deliverables.
  • Coordinate with internal departments including fabrication, engineering, graphics, and other production teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Create and distribute detailed service orders and project documentation to support project deliverables.
  • Monitor project budgets, identify scope changes, and communicate financial impacts to stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoot project-related issues and implement effective solutions with internal teams and clients.
  • Maintain accurate project tracking documentation and communicate project updates as needed.
  • Guide project execution to ensure alignment with client vision, design specifications, line drawings, and renderings.
  • Utilize ERP systems to manage project details, track progress, and monitor deliverables.
  • Oversee critical deadlines, including artwork approvals, warehouse previews, shipping schedules, and post-event return inspections.
  • Prepare and submit timely project reconciliation and closing reports.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines.
  • Proficiency working within ERP systems or similar project tracking platforms.
  • Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and external vendors.
  • Proven ability to manage projects within budget and address scope changes effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting trade shows, events, exhibits, conferences, or experiential marketing initiatives.
  • Experience coordinating production timelines involving fabrication, engineering, graphics, or related functions.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greensboro, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $34.00/hr.
