Now Hiring: Experienced Lead Baker

Location: Round Bagels & Donuts – Wilmington, NC

Shift Start Time: 4:00 AM

Weekend Availability Required

Round Bagels & Donuts is looking for a reliable, experienced Lead Baker to join our amazing team! We’re a fast-paced, quality-focused bakery known for our fresh bagels and baked goods—and we need a skilled, dependable, and professional baker who can hit the ground running.

This is an extremely fast-paced position. You must be able to work with urgency, stay focused under pressure, and maintain a strong, efficient work ethic throughout your shift.

Works quickly, efficiently, and with a strong sense of urgency

Positive, friendly, and a team player

REQUIRED:

3+ years of professional restaurant or baking experience

OR

2+ years restaurant management experience

(Please do not apply without at least one of these.)

Primary Duties:

Proofing, stretching, seeding, and baking bagels

Preparing and baking additional bakery items

Prep work and kitchen maintenance

Cleaning and stocking supplies

Assisting front-of-house staff as needed

Qualifications:

Strong basic math skills (must calculate daily bake counts)

Able to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods

Must be available to start shifts at 4:00 AM

Weekend availability is required – this is non-negotiable

Compensation:

Pay is commensurate with experience
