Imagine starting your day reviewing a queue of outbound orders—some bound for customers across town, others headed overseas. As our Export Logistics & Shipping Documentation Specialist, you orchestrate each shipment so it leaves accurately, compliantly, and right on time.

What a Day Might Look Like

You’ll begin by confirming order details, cross-checking serial numbers, and preparing complete paperwork. From there, you choose the right packaging, book carriers, and track pickups. When an export pops up, you navigate customs documents and export rules with confidence. Throughout the day, you keep the ERP system updated, inventory aligned, and the shipping floor safe and tidy.

Your Core Responsibilities

• Prepare domestic and international shipments, including packing slips, labels, invoices, and all required customs/export documentation.
• Audit orders for accuracy, including correct serial numbers and supporting paperwork, prior to release.
• Schedule and coordinate carrier pickups (UPS, FedEx, DHL, etc.) to meet delivery commitments.
• Select protective and right-sized packaging to safeguard products in transit.
• Oversee outbound orders to ensure items are picked correctly and staged for shipment.
• Ensure exports comply with applicable customs and export regulations.
• Maintain precise inventory and shipment records within the ERP system.
• Keep the shipping workspace clean, safe, organized, and well supplied (boxes, labels, packing materials).

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of shipping/receiving experience, ideally in manufacturing or a warehouse setting.
• Hands-on experience with both domestic and international shipping workflows and documentation.
• Comfort with shipping tools, ERP platforms, and Microsoft Excel/Word.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods.
• Forklift certification is helpful (or you’re willing to obtain it).
• Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational habits, and clear communication.
• A collaborative approach—able to partner with multiple teams across the company.
