Diesel Mechanic We are hiring immediately Diesel Mechanics to maintain, diagnose and repair our commercial vehicles and related equipment in our Laurinburg, NC location. If your background includes diesel technician or related experience and excellent customer service skills, please apply!

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and Repairs
• Successfully repair equipment as assigned
• Controlling downtime
• Perform preventive maintenance on all equipment within specified Service Repair Times (SRT)

• Follow established maintenance procedures and guidelines
• Safety procedures are followed at all times.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Shop environment where continuously exposed to several elements such as, noise, intermittent standing, walking; and occasional pushing, carrying, or lifting. Also may have exposure at times to the outside weather elements.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High school or GED, plus specialized schooling and/or on the job education in a specific skill area, e.g. data processing, clerical/administrative, equipment operation, etc., plus 7 to 11 months related experience and/or training, and 1 to 6 months related management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
