Position Overview
MCI is a leading Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) company that specializes in delivering tailored solutions to meet the diverse needs of our clients. We are seeking agents to work as needed in response to disaster relief efforts. This is a temporary, remote position contingent on hurricane disaster relief needs.
Candidates accepted for this role will be contacted via email and text on an as-needed basis. Hours of operation are from 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM ET, with shifts from 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM and 2:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Responsibilities
- Assist customers with service inquiries
- Learn common requests and solutions
- Improve the customer experience during a difficult time
- Utilize our service techniques and systems
- Escalate customer dissatisfaction appropriately
Candidate Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills
- Typing speed of 20+ WPM
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows OS
- Reliable with good attendance and punctuality
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Customer service-oriented (empathetic, patient)
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
Compensation and Benefits

Physical and Employment Conditions
This role is remote, requiring long periods of sitting and computer use. Must be authorized to work, willing to submit background checks and drug screening, and adhere to company policies on diversity and equal opportunity.
