We are looking for an experienced Accounting Specialist to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This is a Contract-to-Permanent position, offering an opportunity to showcase your expertise in financial operations and contribute to the success of our organization. The ideal candidate will excel in managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliation processes with precision and efficiency.
Responsibilities:• Process accounts payable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
• Manage accounts receivable functions, including invoicing and payment tracking.
• Perform detailed account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in month-end closing procedures and prepare relevant financial reports.
• Handle billing operations, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
• Maintain organized records of financial transactions and documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support overall accounting workflows.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Respond to inquiries related to financial transactions and provide solutions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.• Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Strong knowledge of account reconciliation and general accounting practices.
• Familiarity with month-end closing procedures.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and tools.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members.
• Ability to adapt to dynamic financial environments and challenges.
