Job Title: Mechatronics & Robotics Technician

Job Description

As a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician, you will lead and support the team in the installation and repair of automated packaging and distribution equipment. You will collaborate with the Operations Maintenance team to design solutions for complex problems and manage various projects. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to train and mentor service technicians, as well as oversee contracted work.

Responsibilities

• Lead service technicians in the installation and repair of automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Support the Operations Maintenance team by designing solutions for difficult problems and managing projects.
• Train and mentor junior technicians.
• Conduct predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose material handling equipment (MHE) issues.
• Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Demonstrate and uphold safety standards.

Essential Skills

• 4+ years of experience in repairing and maintaining Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and Pneumatic Systems.
• 4+ years of experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• 4+ years of experience in reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
• 3+ years of experience in troubleshooting and diagnostics of MHE.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma.
• 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Work Environment

This role requires the ability to move up to 49 lbs, as well as stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, with or without reasonable accommodation.

This is a Permanent position based out of Wilmington, NC.

The pay range for this position is $94000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
