Kenly 95 Petro TA Service Center is hiring a Diesel Service Advisor / Service Writer to join our fast-paced, high-volume shop. This role is perfect for customer-focused professionals who enjoy problem-solving, coordinating repairs, and delivering excellent service to truck drivers, fleet operators, and commercial vehicle customers.

As a Service Advisor, you are the key link between our customers and diesel technicians, ensuring clear communication, accurate documentation, and a smooth service experience from start to finish.

Requirements:

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers professionally, assessing their service needs
• Accurately document repair orders and service requests
• Communicate with technicians to coordinate repairs, maintenance, and schedules
• Provide clear, timely updates to customers on repair status, timelines, and costs
• Recommend additional services based on vehicle condition and customer needs
• Maintain detailed service records and ensure accurate documentation in management systems
• Support shop workflow to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction
• Deliver consistent, high-quality service that builds trust and repeat business

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple priorities
• Comfortable working in a busy, high-volume diesel service environment
• Professional, positive attitude with a strong work ethic
• Ability to think quickly and solve problems effectively
• Comfortable using computers and service management software
• Previous experience as a Service Advisor, Diesel Service Writer, Automotive Advisor, or Customer Service Representative is a plus but not required
