As a **Security Officer - Armed Patrol - Financial** in **Greensboro, NC** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment at a financial institution location. Your role will involve routine patrols, staying visible to promote a sense of security, and responding promptly to incidents. This position requires both an armed guard license and a valid driver's license, as you will be responsible for patrolling designated areas by vehicle and/or on foot. **What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using appropriate protocols for armed security personnel.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
+ Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points, verifying identification and controlling entry as required.
+ Maintain a visible presence to help to deter criminal activity and provide reassurance to employees and visitors in a financial institution setting.
+ Document observations, incidents, and activities in detailed reports as required by Allied Universal and site policies.
+ Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders as necessary, following established procedures for armed personnel.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
+ Possess an armed guard card or license.
+ Be at least 21 years of age.
+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
+ Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
