Director of OSP Operations (Travel)
- Lead the OSP construction planning and delivery groups, including in-house, contractors, vendors, inspection and quality control of work performed by contracts
- Build and maintain relationships and market-level OSP construction personnel
- Build and enhance a strong OSP construction team that provides proactive support and results-driven execution of responsibilities to meet the current and future business needs
- Ensure project scheduling, project status reporting and budgetary governance are accurate, timely and consistent
- Manage KPI’s and service level agreements for construction activities while proactively taking actions to improve performance as needed
- Continually drive the development effective processes and process improvements
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for leaders as needed
- Optimize the existing OSP infrastructure to encourage a positive customer experience
- Understand customers’ needs while addressing them and improving the customer experience
- Demonstrate a commitment to outstanding customer service
- Develop, implement and monitor project status reporting
- Monitor and assess current trends and emerging developments within the telecommunications industry
- Keep up with best practices and trends relevant to fiber construction and design technologies
- Manage and coach employees to increase engagement, morale and strengthen professional development
- Continually strive to develop talent within the construction organization to promote individual development and career growth within the company
- Perform related duties and as other responsibilities as assigned
- 7+ years of OSP Construction experience in a senior leadership role
- Previous experience overseeing underground, aerial and fiber splicing crews
- P&L management experience, results driven and excellent analytical skills
- Firm understanding of revenue and net income
- Experience managing large projects and large teams
- Ability to develop and mentor a team
- Experience having direct reports
- Ability to travel around market up to 50%
