Electronic Technician
shift: First
work hours: 7 AM - 3:30 PM
education: High School Responsibilities Responsibilities:
- Perform bench assembly using hand tools and specialty equipment (drills, crimpers, cable cutters).
- Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints, and electronic schematics.
- Identify common electronic component values.
- Solder, crimp, bolt, screw, press-fit, and secure components.
- Mount transformers, resistors, capacitors, transistors, ICs, and related components to chassis panels.
- Route and connect wiring between components, connectors, and terminals.
- Build wiring harnesses, cable assemblies, control panels, sensors, and mechanical/electrical assemblies.
- Install subassemblies into cases and cabinets.
- Build complex subassemblies or complete instruments from start to finish.
- Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and in-process inspections to ensure quality standards.
- strong understanding of electronics principles.
- Advanced soldering and wire termination skills.
- Ability to follow complex instructions and technical documentation.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- High School Diploma required; Trade/Technical degree or military electronics training preferred.
- 3–6 months related experience; manufacturing experience a plus.
