Nurse Coordinator Emergency Department - Night Shift

Reporting to the Nurse Manager, the Nurse Coordinator Emergency Department will optimize patient flow, safety, and quality in a high-acuity emergency center. Daily responsibilities include coordinating triage and throughput, serves as charge resource for nurses and techs, collaborates with physicians and ancillary teams, monitors quality metrics and ensuring compliance regulatory standard, leads shift huddles, coaches and precepts new and existing staff, performs chart audits, responds to codes and rapid responses, maintains EHR documentation accuracy, coordinates supply readiness and equipment checks, and supporting surge/disaster preparedness.

What's Needed to Succeed:

• Degree from an accredited Nursing program
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse RN in the state of North Carolina or ability to obtain upon hire
• Proven leadership experience in an emergency care or similar clinical setting
