The Locums Company is seeking a dedicated and flexible Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to provide per diem clinical coverage in the Morganton, NC area. This role is ideal for providers looking to supplement their current schedule while making a meaningful impact in a community-focused healthcare setting.
? Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive patient care including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
Perform physical exams and medical evaluations
Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with NC scope of practice
Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare staff to ensure quality patient outcomes
Follow facility policies, procedures, and clinical guidelines
?? Qualifications
Active North Carolina PA or NP license
Board Certification
Active DEA license
Current BLS/CPR certification
Minimum 1 year of clinical experience preferred
Strong communication and patient-care skills
