Telemetry RN Job Details – Asheville, NC

• Location: Asheville, NC 28801 (North Carolina nursing jobs)
• Healthcare Setting: Telemetry Unit (PCU)
• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
• Start Date: August 11, 2025
• End Date: November 10, 2025
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12 Hour Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1800 - $1840 per week

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license (North Carolina or compact state)
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in Telemetry or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) nursing
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and vital signs for patients in the Telemetry/PCU unit
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and families
• Accurately document all patient care activities in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate nursing interventions
