Director of Sales
Cabinetry Sales Manager – Kitchen & Bath Division | Raleigh, NC
We are seeking an experienced Cabinetry Sales Manager to lead our kitchen and bath division in a dynamic player-coach leadership role. This senior-level position is responsible for driving new business development with residential builders, managing a team of 6 designers, and professionalizing our sales operations while maintaining our commitment to quality craftsmanship and exceptional service. The ideal candidate will bring proven expertise in kitchen and bath cabinetry sales, construction project management, and team leadership within the residential building market.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategy for kitchen and bath cabinetry division
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of 6 cabinet designers to drive performance and professional growth
- Build and maintain strong relationships with residential builders and custom home contractors
- Oversee pipeline management and ensure consistent execution across all projects
- Drive new business development in the Raleigh market and coastal North Carolina regions
- Establish structured growth plans for market expansion and revenue acceleration
- Provide oversight and support to trim sales function
- Step into active cabinet design and sales support when needed to ensure client continuity
- Implement accountability systems and performance metrics for the sales team
- Ensure alignment with company standards for quality, service, and reliability
- Protect and enhance brand reputation while scaling operations
- Manage construction-driven project flow from initial consultation through installation
Required Qualifications
- 7-10 years of experience in cabinetry sales, kitchen and bath design, or construction-related sales leadership
- Proven track record of scaling a business generating $2M+ in annual revenue
- Demonstrated success in relationship-based selling to residential builders and custom home market
- Deep understanding of kitchen and bath design principles, cabinetry construction, and cabinet manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of residential construction jobsite flow and project timelines
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing sales and design teams
- Exceptional organizational skills with high level of follow-through and accountability
- Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, custom-build environment
- Proficiency with CRM systems and sales pipeline management tools
- Strong communication and presentation skills for builder meetings and client consultations
- Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and construction drawings
