Med/Surg RN Job Details Position: Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) – Locum Tenens Location: Henderson, North Carolina 27536 Assignment Length: 13 weeks (September 8, 2025 – December 8, 2025) Shift: 12-hour night shifts (18:45 – 07:00) Hours per Week: 36 (weekly guarantee) Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Unit: Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg) – 48 beds, adult/geriatric population Electronic Health Record: Paragon EHR Scrub Colors: Blue/Black Estimated Weekly Salary: $1800-$1840 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active North Carolina RN license or compact state license Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg RN experience Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred Current BLS certification Strong attendance, punctuality, and teamwork skills Ability to work holiday rotations and every other weekend Eligible for travel status (must reside at least 60 miles from Henderson, NC) Med/Surg RN Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a 48-bed medical-surgical unit Manage patient ratios up to 1:6 Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care Accurately document patient care and progress using Paragon EHR Demonstrate flexibility with occasional float requirements Maintain professional appearance and adhere to blue/black scrub dress code Participate in scheduled holiday and weekend rotations Apply now to join our healthcare team in Henderson, North Carolina and take the next step in your nursing career!
